I will be on my own and can please myself

I like art, culture and history, so a top day out for me is stuff like the Tate Modern, Imperial War Museum etc (which I have done before...)

Is there anything a bit different and unusual which I really must experience?

Cheers Smile

The Wallace Collection behind Selfridges, just off Oxford Street. My favourite place, wish I could come with you!

Thanks grants - I hadn't heard of the Wallace collection, that is a new one on me so that's great! Will definitely look that up

Any other suggestions from anyone to fill the rest of the day?

The Bank of England museum is good.

There's a Manet exhibition at the RA.

Hadn't heard of the Wallace collection either.

I've been to the museum of London (feel less ignorant now) but hadn't thought about the guildhall gallery before - thanks
