Have lots of questions. Flying to NYC in summer and spending 2-3 weeks travelling and seeing relatives in Albany. Thinking of getting on the train to Albany and then driving to Niagara. So really interested in any suggestions about where to stay and what to do and how to get about. Especially interested in somewhere to stay for a few days in or near NYC. I'm sure there was someone on here a while back who suggested apartments just outside the city. Also interested in somewhere nice to stay maybe just outside Niagra as the hotels nearby are so tacky and expensive. Also interested in anywhere else we should visit on our trip. Thanks.
