Sunny beach, Bulgaria beginning of June?

Has anyone been to sunny beach, Bulgaria? Would you recommend it? I am planning a week break with our then 2.5 yrs old at the beginning of June, what's the weather like and sea water warm enough for the little one to swim?

The best time to be in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria is July and August. But if you choose June it is good too and the temperature of the water is 24-27°C.
Sunny Beach is affordable and perfect for families.

Sunny beach is horrible imo

I would go somewhere else along the coast. Sunny beach is like clubbing Ibiza part. Even 15 mins away will be a much nicer family atmosphere, with maybe a morning trip to visit ( then leave when too hectic).

Varna is nice if you fly there instead of Burgas. Near Burgas airport is the bay itself, pomorie, or chemomorets to the south for example

We stayed.in Portil, Costa de la Luz, spain, a very nice apartment, modern furnished , great views to the sea.....beginning June, and the weather was very very nice...You can fly either to Faro or Sevilla so you can get very.good prices on ryanair flights...
