June Holiday/Beach/Pool/Character

Can anyone recommend where we should go on holiday for last 2 wks of June.

Want to be walking distance to beach, pool, to be +GMT hours so we can stay up later and keep their routine (i.e head south or east) We will have a 10 mth baby a 4 yr old.

Want to be walking distance to restaurants/shops, but somewhere with Character.

Not France (visit family there) or Turkey (went there last year).

Italy or Majorca?

I can recomend Porta Pollenca in Majorcan. We stayed in the Pine Walk area and it was lovely. Really quiet, (ie no night clubs - god I am old). safe sandy beaches etc. Am looking togo myself but at bit sort of the readies this year (still got used to being a SAHM).. will have to look uk instead.
