Hi .. we're going to Greece in May when our DS will be 13 months. I'm just wondering what to take with us in a first aid kit .. what can be bought over the counter and what would I need to see my GP for?
Also .. on the plane .. does anyone have any suggestions what a 13 month old could suck while taking off so that his ears don't get sore?
Thanks a lot

calpol, nurofen, piriton, bite and sting cream, dioralyte, nappy cream, plasters - all available over the counter. Remember suncream/aftersun. Does he have a dummy or he could have a drink of water from a cup/bottle during take off.

I only ever took a thermometer and calpol/nur often with me. Plus a couple of plaster.

Everything else I alsways see a GP. Take private health insurance and all resorts have access to an English speaking doctor.

We never had big issues with sucking problems on the plane. If he takes a dummy that could help. Otherwise get a bottle of water after security and fill it into a sippy cup or a bottle with a sports cap so he can drink.

I found a bottle absolute necessary, DD gets very thirsty on a plane every time.

Thanks a lot .. both really helpful .. will start to get things organised now.

It's our first trip away with him and our first flight together as a family so feeling a bit nervous about it and want to be prepared!

Thank you Thanks
