where to take 4 yr old boy in london on Saturday?

Spending day in London tomorrow and cannot think of a single thing to do with my 4yr old son. How sad is that? I lived in london all my life until 3 yrs ago...I guess I just don't know london for toddlers.

Ideally wanted to take him to Pixar exhibition at Science Museum, but am guessing would have needed to book tickets by now.

Any other ideas?

Think he's too young to appreciate the London Eye.

London Transport Museum? (Covent Garden)

My 4 year old is desperate to go on the London Eye, and to see the dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum.

it's just a little cafe in regent's park about 5 mins walk from the zoo entrance. it was there about 2 yrs ago anyway! should be easy to find - we just happened across it while strolling along - it's right off the main path..

just looked at their website - looks lush! Thanks for that tip... think that might be the winning idea, that followed by zoo!

Definitely dinosaurs at the Nat. History my 4 and 2 yr olds both absolutely adored it and so did I. You can do as much or as little there as you want and it's all FREE

And the Transport Museum is normally wonderful but closed for refurbishment dhw.
Zoo and sausages great ideas - and if you do go to Pixar (ds is going Monday), enjoy :)

Wait until Sunday and take him to see the London Marathon!
I am running for the first time and am trying to drum up as much support as possible!

What about the London Aquarium? DS1 is 4 and he loved it, especially touching the rays in the open pool near the end.

Aquarium, basement at the Science Museum, Natural History Museum? I think that some of the best bits of the zoo are closed for rebuilding at the moment (although I've just heard that on the grapevine and not seen for myself).
