Pernera, Cyprus

We are looking at a 3 bed villa in Pernera, Cyprus for August. All the reviews are good. We are looking for something low key where we can walk to restaurants, hopefully not too busy but that maybe too much to ask fro August and a nice sandy beach. Is Pernera OK?

I went here about 3 years ago it is very quiet , but a few nice restaurants and you can take a nice 20 min walk along the waterfront into proteas which has lots of restaurants / bars ( family orientated not boozers)

Enjoy !

Pernera is very nice especially for families. We find it a safe place and it ticks the boxes in what your looking for. It you want it more buseir you can take a 20 min walk to protaras, you walk alng the new costal walk along the front or via the road.

For smaller childrens there a great little amusement park with crazy golf and games on the main road outside protaras (below the church on the mountain).

In Pernera itself, we stay at the Polyxenia villas and sunbathe down at the polxyxenia restaurant with grassed areas and two pools, all free providing you purchase food an drinks from he restaurant.

Plenty of hotels inthe area with pools, water slides, we just drop into diffent hotel pools when we want to break the day up. There is a Water Park at the Aastasia Hota and a large muiciple water park and further five mins down the road.

Plenty of good local restaurants run by local families.

Kd you need any other info let me know.
