Phantasialand or Europa Park in Germany

thinking of visiting one of these this summer en route to Austria. Which would you recommend for DD10 and DS 3.5? thanks.

I've not been to Europa Park, but from what I recall of Phantasialand (its been about 7 years since I went, so it could have changed), your DD might find it a bit tame.....

europa park was a great day out - went when i was 18 and really enjoyed it

Heard good things about Europa park too. Playmobil park and perhaps Legoland could also be enroute for you , depending where you are headed in Austria.

Thanks. Playmobil park looks good too. Not too bothered about thrill-seeking rides, as long as there's stuff for DS to do. DD not too brave so will probably enjoy gentle rides. You can stay in Tipi tents too, which looks like fun!
