Museum of science and industry in manchester is free

As a history teacher I'd highly recommend the Imperial War Museum in Manchester. And it's free. I think they'd both enjoy it as there is a lot to see there.

Whitworth Art gallery are doing one of their Colourful Sundays - not sure if teens might be too old/cool for it though (I have infants!).

The paper cuts exhibition on at the City Art Gallery is brilliant.

Yes, you could visit the Art Gallery to see The First Cut then have lunch in the Printworks and possibly see something at the cinema?

After all of that we are going to the Royal Armouries in Leeds!

I hope we get to The First Cut before the end of January though as it looks fab.

The Armouries was a hit.
