Fuerteventura or other Canaries in a few weeks come hither and help !!!

We might have a chance of a break of about 10 days, it will be a last minute break . We are abroad so not looking for a package including flights transfers the reps etc.
Went to Tenerife Costa Adeje last year and liked it ok. Thinking Fuereventura Barcelo Thalasso Spa hotel. Possibly Sheraton Caleta ( but we don't play golf ..not sure I can cope with the jumpers and pastel pink polo shirts). Priorities are Warmth with a bit of sun . Beach very easy access, nice 4 or cheap 5* mixed nationality hotel . Heated pool. B&B or HB. A play area but not that bothered about all singing dancing miniclubs if they are there ok. wandering access to quiet village, small town for restaurants, bars odd shops. Its a family holiday ( dds 4&6) so don't need karaoke and discos IYKWIM.
Any ideas suggestions very gratefully accepted. Have had a good look at Trip Advisor but found many reviews Thompson and Thomas Cook related.

How about Jardin Tecina on La Gomera?

I think getting to La Gomera might be a bit too much of a trek - as it is we will have 2 flights on arrival and possibly 3 on departure.....Will have a look though .

Have stayed Sheraton fuerte and had a great time. Heated pool really good for kids were in it all day

But not huge amount to do in area, did hire car and tour island for a day.

Lanzarote eco retreat? Yurts etc. lovely

Have been to Caleta de Fuste in Fuerteventura, the Barcelo Fuerteventura is a lovely hotel right by the beach, area is lovely too, lots of very nice restaurants and bars
