Will be vivitng family in Scotland next month (I am in Canada) and though I will have use of a car seat while there we will need to get a taxi to the airport returning home and will not have it. What should I do? Will have very lightweight buggy and a sling. Do any cab firms provide car seats?

Dd will be 11 months btw.

get a relative to ring round and ask for you, otherwise,if you can afford it pay the taxi to take the seat to the airport and back IYSWIM

Some taxi firms, particularly airport based ones, can supply one if asked in advance.
