Help! We're going to Zante in Greece for a fortnight next month, and i'm having a panic re milk feeding!
My little boy (6.5 months old) is currently predominantly breastfed, and he has 1-2 formula feeds as 'top up' during the day. Stupid question, but what do we do about the formula feeds in Greece? I've been there before, and even the locals don't drink their tap water (they all drink bottled mineral stuff), which beg the question, what do we do re making up feeds? Do i use the tap water (boiled and cooled first, obviously), or do i use the bottled water (again boiled and cooled). My concern with that is that i read somewhere that the mineral contents of bottled water can be dangerous to little ones. The final option is that we take loads of cartons of the ready-mixed formula with us (taking the water equation away altogether), but that would be a huge chunk of our weight allowance (and suitcase space!), not to mention mammoth costs for a fortnights worth!
Any advice / info greatly appreciated! Thanks x
