Day out for two 9 yr old boys & a 6 yr old girl in Derbyshire please?

Wanting to catch up with an old friend who has a 9 yr old son. I have a 9 yr old ds and a 6 yr old dd. indoor play too you g for the boys now but would really like to find somewhere where all 3 dc can be occupied and I could have a good catch up with my friend. Am based in north east derbyshire/south Yorkshire. Any recommendations?

Magna science centre in Rotherham is great. It also has a great play area, weather permitting. The Butterfly Farm in Anston is a good day out, unless you are terrified of snakes like I am .

Obviously the above places are in S. Yorks not Derbyshire, sorry didn't read the title properly.
