Has anyone been to the Hyatt Regency in Taba, Egypt?

.... we are off there at the end of the week with 1 year old dd. Was preparing to organise myself to bring enough food, milk etc with us for the week, and wondering if I am a) mad, b)trying too hard and c)underestimating the food preparation services of the Hyatt!
Should I just feed her mostly from the buffet? Is it too salty/fatty/unsuitable? Can I make do with buffet vegetables with hommous, yoghurt, fruit etc? Or shall I use up most of my luggage allowance carting hipp jars and organix fruit pots half way around the world (new meaning to food miles...)?
All advice very gratefully received (especially if it tells me to leave the fruit pots at home! Grin)... thank you!

Hi - we went to the Hyatt Regency last March and loved it. Our son was 2 then and was completely self sufficient from the buffet. There was always plenty of yoghurt, fresh fruit, porridge, and past for other meals plus eggs, omelettes, etc. The restaurant staff were brilliant and would have helped provide anything specific. I did take pasteurised milk for ds to drink and plenty of wine for us! Enjoy it and relax!

Brilliant, thanks so much! Did your son drink any of the milk there, or did you rely completely on what you brought?

Not been to the Egypt Regent Hyatt but went to the Bali Hyatt in Dec with 11 month old for 2 weeks.

We took nothing with us for food and he survived well on the buffet (yogurts, bread, fruit etc). The staff were alsoways helpful. Outside the hotel he ate pasta, chips, rice and a lot of garlic bread. He didn't eat as much as he did at home but it was also very hot. We ate in numerous establishments and had no problems with tummy bugs.

Can't help on the milk - I was still bf at the time. However he did have milk form the buffet with his cereal with no complaints.
