My MIL currently lives abroad (in Europe) and is coming to stay with us in the UK next week. As soon as she arrives, she will be sending paperwork to Indian Embassy to apply for a visa to stay in India for a while (maybe 6 months? Longer than a normal holiday, anyway)
Anyone have experience of this process, or any idea how long it will take for the visa to arrive? I'm due to give birth soonish and would rather she wasn't still living here then!
