I know this has probably be done loads of times, but can't find it just to hand..
Has anyone got any recommendations for staying in a hotel so we can do a special legoland break for 2 nights. and who would you book it through to get the best deal. (ie 2 nights, 2 day entrance, breakfast etc)

There is me and my ds and another family, so we will need 1 family room and i double room and we have 4 children between us..under the age of 7.

thanks in advance

I would book a travelodge and if you have tesco clubcard points use those. If no clubcard points and you aren't fussy about when you go, I believe Legoland are doing an offer in the next couple of months which involves free child entry for every fullpaying adult.
If you want a hotel+ticket deal, we booked a deal last year through the legoland website last year which was a pretty good deal I recall (although I still think a £26 travelodge would work out cheaper!)

Travelodges:

Staines
Slough (but allow a lot for parking - eg £6 overnight)
Heston Services, to name but a few.

We stayed at Heston Services last time, if you opt for this, then choose the westbound one, and head for it via the North Circular rather than the M25/M4. I like the Staines one, you have to pay a bit for parking, but not overnight and there's a Waitrose which does nice breakfasts!
