Where to look? What are the best airlines?

Depends on where you want to fly into.

To OZ I've found Emirates to be both reasonably priced and good service.
Thai (a few years ago now) were wonderful

To NZ (where I go more often but many of the same airlines service OZ)
Korean is my first choice for price
Singapore Airlines are generally good service but not as cheap
Malaysian are cheap but dreadful

Hey Slug! Cheapest I'm finding at the mo is Malaysian- are they really dreadful?!

We have flown Malaysian with kids and they were great.
