January holiday.

DH & I are thinking of trying to go away for a week at the end of January with DD (she'll be almost 2). We want to go somewhere dry, not too bothered about it being hot, but warm would be nice.
Any suggestions?

Canaries? What kinds of things do you want to do/see

what is your definition of warm totally? anywhere in europe is going to be so so but if you want something in the 20's then you will need to go further afield like florida etc. would suggest that before you book anything you go on one of the temperature websites like accuweather and check it out first.

We're not that bothered about the temperature, because we can put on extra layers, but we want it to be dry and not icy/snowy.
I'm not sure we'll even decide to go anywhere, but DH has a week off he'd suggested it. We just liked the idea of getting another holiday in before DD turned 2!
We went to the canaries in October. It was our first holiday with DD and she vomitted all week. It was too hot for us really (high 20s/30s).

We went to Egypt in Jan a few years ago, the weather was lovely, like a mild summer day in England.
