I'm looking for things in the Dorset area to keep the children entertained and also maybe something that isn't going to numb my mind!

Any thoughts of things to do? Please help.

The Tank Museum is fantastic.

Yarg · 11/12/2012 21:58

'The Dorset Area'? You'll have to narrow it down more than that, OP?

What do your DCs like doing? And you? Are you living in Dorset, or just visiting?

There is an infinite number of 'things to do' in Dorset, really.

Sea life, Dinosaur Museums in Lyme Regis and Dorchester, Monkey World is great, Abbotsbury Gardens, The Lyric Theatre Bridport has the 3 little pigs on.

Just into Devon Donkey Sanctuary and Pecorama.

Markets., the beach, woods, hills, endless fun to be had with wellies, raincoats and a good stick.

What did you finally do?

Also Plaza cinema in Dorchester very good value - all seats £2.50.

Walk on the beach in Weymouth then f&c?

Rock pools at Kimmeridge?

trikken · 12/01/2013 20:13

the Plaza is the best. enjoyed the twilight marathon there.

Tons and tons to do here!

Our favourites are farmer Palmers, moors valley, corfe, beaches, googlingrandom villages and finding walks to a pub for lunch, brownsea island (but not running at the moment).

Tell us the area and when . .

LaBelleDameSansPatience · 12/01/2013 21:15
