Antigua advice please

off to the Caribbean for the first time on Friday. Antigue. Carlisle Bay hotel. Anything we should remember? Our kids are teenagers. Do we need insect repellant? Does it stay warm in the evening? I am sooooo excited, ages since we've done a beach break.

Yes very warm in evening. Yes take repellent although many resorts spray daily.

Yes, insect repellent is essential even if the hotel sprays.
I've never needed any kind of wrap or light cardigan in the evening
If you buy rum, go for the English Harbour one rather than Cavalier :)

Be prepared for the heat as you step off the plane as you have to walk from the plane to the terminal. Dress in layers for the flight so you can strip! I don't think the new airport terminal will be finished yet - then there will be no walk across the tarmac (I feel a little sad about this :))
