just bumping this up in the hope that someone who's been will see it. Is it do-able in the rain?

What is it?

wordgirl · 24/05/2006 19:19

I have done it in the rain and it was still fun but I must admit it's better when it's not raining. Children will enjoy it regardless of weather.

thanks have seen it advertised before but didn't know the name.
Now trying to work out if it is on our route to Berwick next week Grin

gigglinggoblin · 24/05/2006 20:32

i went a couple of weeks ago, it was brilliant and i cant recommend it highly enough! it didnt rain, but we all came out soaking wet anyway so take wellies and spare clothes to get changed into.

mrsbang · 24/05/2006 20:38

This is a great place to visit. Few years since we've been though (and it was dry)

Sorry, that really wasn't much help was it?

Theresa · 25/05/2006 20:17

Thanks, I think we'll go regardless. We are in Newcastle and I know I'm going to regret saying this, but it's been sunny all week (but cold!)

i have done it in the rain and in the sun - its best in the sun but much quieter in the rain so - quite alot is inderground so you should be ok

Theresa · 29/05/2006 08:51

It didn't rain, but it would have still been ok if it had. it surpassed all of our expectations, truly fantastic. Usually our two (7 & 4) are into theme parks etc so it made a great change

We went here last month with 4yo DD and had a great time. Was well worth it.
