Portugal family holiday - advice needed

Looking for a holiday in June for 10 days for a mum and two DD's in Portugal or Spain, with some childcare, in an beach area where other families holiday? Any recommendations gratefully received.

we went to portugal last june, we stayed near gale in a villa but it was really out in the sticks, weather was lovely thou, the town where the airport is was very nice but the beach was so hot you couldn't walk bare foot on the sand, there was a lovely town square there they had mime artists and buskers there it was lovely
