Is Bodelwyddan National Trust? Some NT places do Easter Egg hunts in April.

Can you go for a trip on a boat somewhere?

MerlinsBeard · 05/04/2006 20:38

Maybe u could go on a nature walk but collect things along the way to make a collage with when u get back?

Theres always ur local netmums site for places to go in ur area

throckenholt · 05/04/2006 21:23

nah - just lots of fun walks - doesn't have to be different to be fun (at least not when you are a kid !)

Isn't there a castle at Cricieth ?

Have you looked at the tourist information website for Criccieth - quite a lot on there and I bet you haven't done all the local things (you never go to the places you live near !)

buffythenappyslayer · 06/04/2006 16:34

when we first moved here,we did just about everything!my parents were on the tourist board commitee and did the criccieth brochures of things to do around here!there is a castle, but the kids school is right next to it and they go up there quite often.also they go on nature walks on teh beach and near local rivers/streams.
ive asked them what they want to do,got 2 dunnos,1 not bothered im off to my mates house, and 1 'i want to go to space mummy' (ds2 is obsessed with space at teh mo!)
so im still no further on with what to do.cant wait to go to bodellwyddan castle,im doing a parapsychology course at the mo and its supposed to be very haunted!(going purely for my own selfish reasons!but at least they'll get a day out!)

i know its a long way to go (proberly a two hour drive for you) but there is the national space centre in leicester, it is brilliant for a day out and the kids will love it!!!

buffythenappyslayer · 06/04/2006 16:54

dont mind the driving time, thats a great idea,is there a website where i acn get directions and opening times from?
