Taking my Mum Christmas Shopping in Bath next week, not a place either of us know well, but it's somewhere she's wanted to visit for ages.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good lunch stop? Thanks.

What sort of food/ price?

The Cosy Club, opposite Debenhams in the new shopping area is nice with a good range from snack to full meal.

Just a nice sit down to break up the shopping, probably pasta, comfort type food I think! I saw from googling that Jamie's is now in Bath and looks pretty central.

Jaime's is great but you cannot book tables and it tends to be VERY busy. We like Brasserie Blanc a lot.

Hall and Woodhouse is supposed to be good, but I haven't been there myself.

There's also a branch of Wagamama if you like their style of food (and most of the other usual chains as well).

and there's a Carluccio's.

if you're feeling flush, book afternoon tea at the Pump Room Restaurant which is part of the Roman Baths. Only if you're feeling flush though.
