I need a map

From the train station to the Explorers hotel

Seriously just follow the crowds

Skribble · 04/04/2006 00:25

Everybody staying at Explorers will be going to disney so it should be easy to navigate. There will be info at hotel too.

Enjoy, you will love it! I was a bit cynical but was soon skipping hand in hand up Main St with DD.

handlemecarefully · 04/04/2006 00:29

Have a lovely time

Katymac · 04/04/2006 07:30

Skribble - I'm dreading it

All the things I like about France will be invisible

OP posts:
Skribble · 04/04/2006 22:07

What are you dreading? Are you spending the whole time in the park?

Perhaps you have to think of this as a trip to disney and forget about the fact you are in france.

We took the kids to disney and stayed in an on site hotel. The second time they had the choice of Paris and Disney for a day or Disney and Paris for the day. They picked Paris and loved it.

Katymac · 04/04/2006 22:11

Yep - but I don't want to go Sad

I have to leave my business in someone elses hands
I don't like theme parks
I don't really like Dsiney commercialism
I have so much to do at home

Oh well you will just have to pretend you are 5 again and get lost in the whole thing. The first time I went we arrived alte and ran all the way to the park in time to see the light parade, then after it passed us we charged off to go on as many things before chucking out time. I got totally caught up in the whole thing. They do do it so well it is easy to forget it is all polystyrene, just don't go in all the shops. Most sell the same stuf as all the other ones so save some time and give them a miss.

Few stressful times when I got my period and tried to find the one shop with tampax, of course spotty 16yr old male assistant and tampax on shelf behind mobbed counter. I chickened out and went to the medical centre where she gave me 2- argh!

Katymac · 04/04/2006 22:23

Maybe....

paolosgirl · 04/04/2006 22:24

We had a week there, and had hired a car, so did 3 days in the Park, and then used the car and the train from the nearby town to get into Paris. I'm glad we had the car though - the thought of eating a la Disney for a whole week was unbearable, so we used to drive to the supermarket and stock up on bread/cheese/fruit etc for breakfasts and packed lunches, and then drive to local french restaurants in the evening.

Skribble · 04/04/2006 22:25

A wee sprinkling off fairy dust and you will be fine. Oh wait that sounds like I am advising you to snort cocaine or something Blush. You know what I mean really Grin.

Katymac · 04/04/2006 22:36

Actually that might work....Wink

OP posts:
Skribble · 04/04/2006 22:38

You could go anywhere then and have a ball, might ry it next week Grin.
