Canaries - self catering recommendations

We are looking to go for a week - 10 days in the canaries, probably Tenerife, with our then 11 month old son in Feb. Have been trawling the net but wondered if any of you have any recommendations of apartments or just info on the resorts as not been before.

This one is really nice www.parquesantiago.com/ and they have an heated pool which you need in Feb.
Parque Santiago 3 and 4 are really nice. Parque santiago 5 not so much.
you have supermarket and restaurants close by, and the nicest beaches just at 2 min walk
