Am meeting an old friend up in the Smoke this weeknd. As much as I lovce her dearly she is prone to suggesting places like Selfridges to meet for lunch, when I KNOW there are lots of better ,cheaper and more interseting places to go . I used to know a few when I wokred up there, but am guessing they may have gone now.

Does anyone know somewhere they could recommend?

Lots of cafes/restaurants in St Christophers place if you are in Oxford Street.

So many places depending on where in the west end you want to meet

what sort of food do you like? there's a great ribs/burger/chicken place in Poland Street (and for some reason, I've just forgotten the name..). I'll have a look...

Have you had a look on toptable.co.uk? Has great advice and always good special offers to suit all budgets. I used it a lot in a past life (before kids...). Enjoy!
