Restaurant near Peterborough needed please

I and my dd (3.9) are meeting my Mum for a belated Mothers day lunch next sunday. We need somewhere nice about halfway between Cambridge and Nottingham - which I reckon is in the Peterborough region. Somewhere with easy access to the A1 would be good.

Depends how much you want to pay, but my favourite eating place in Peterborough is

The Cherry House restaurant in Werrington

or I can also recommend the Fox and Hounds pub in Longthorpe

or if you want a decent carvery, you can't go wrong with the Sessions House
