Want to have a holiday in the French Alps next summer (August) and looking for suggestions for locations and hotels, apartments, chalets etc. Thanks

I spent a lovely summer in Les Contamines on a French exchange when I was at school many years ago. Having just googled it I think it still looks beautiful.
