Help! We're planning a weekend away in early April and can't find anything that works for us. Sad We don't want to drive for hours and hours (so looking for SE England really) nor do we want to spend a fortune - lots of the family friendly places seem to be about £100 per person per night Shock! Thought we'd found something ideal in Bournemouth but they have no babylistening and apparently lots of hotels in that area don't for insurance reasons, but I'm not leaving DS without being able to hear him.
Ideas please!!

We took our baby monitor with us when we went on holiday and used that. So long as where you want to be is in range of your monitor, you might want to consider that.....

Thanks MaryBS, yes we've done that before - and happy to do it again - but with larger hotels (which are often the cheaper ones) the range is too great for our one.

So still looking for ideas please!!

OK, how about this, I know you didn't want to drive for hours and hours, but this holiday park in Woolacombe has a decent inexpensive creche and I can recommend it:

Just found this:

did a search for hotel creche bournemouth in Google, and it came back with this:

Says prices are from £21....

Thanks a lot MaryBS - I'll check those out.
