Gambia - jabs, malaria etc..

my sister is getting married in Gambia in July and we are going out there for the wedding for 1 week with 2 dds age 4 and 2.

Dh and I have travelled extensively pre-kids, but never taken the lo's anywhere other than Frnace. I am worried about jabs/malaria medication and the heat as it will be the rainy/hot season when we go.

has anyone been with kids and got any advice or reassurance?

Gambia is lovely! You will enjoy, really friendly staff and very ott friendly locals Wink.

If i remember correctly we had - malaria tablets, yellow fever, polio updated .... there may have been others i can't remember. I guess you need up to date tetanus as well?

We went in July and it was lovely and warm with regular shower to cool you down - you know the type where you stay on the sunbed whilst its raining - doesn't turn cold at all and you know the sun'll be out again in five minutes.
