Saw an ad for Kinderhotels in the weekend paper - 60 hours free childcare a week, beautiful scenery, health spas for adults...sounded good. have just looked at website, looks good on web, but has anyone actually been?

I´ve been.. Kinderhotel Post in Unken, near Salzburg. It was BRILLIANT! Not sure how people who don´t speak German would enjoy it though. The majority of people are German or Swiss German; no other Brits when we were there. I´ll be doing a review soon but am happy to answer any direct questions! Price-wise, for the most expensive suite, the hol was about 30% cheaper than Mark Warner for v good accommodation and excellent food.

I know several families who have been to the Alpenrose in Lermoos - popular with English speaking Expats as well as German speaking families - and it comes highly recommended if a bit pricey.

They seem to be doing a lot of advertising in the UK at the moment. Full page ad in Mother&baby the other week, and they are organising a 'fun day' at London wetlands centre in June. Will probably find lots more English speakers attending. I would love to go too.
