North West-Sea Life or Blue Planet??

[Unacceptable]

Planning to take DC for day out later this month and current obsessions are Sharks & Dinosaurs. We've covered the Dinosaur day but not sure which to go for out of sea-life and Blue Planet.

Has anyone been to both and can compare for me? Opinions on either would also be greatly appreciated if you've only been to one. TIA

We have done blue planet and the sea life at Blackpool. DS much preferred Blackpool. We seemed to be in and out of blue planet in minutes and £50 poorer!

What are they both like for parking...and is it worth taking a packed lunch or is the food ok?
The Blue Planet was appealing the most for the underwater tunnel-looks really cool, but it's hard to get a real feel for either from the websites

Agree with Juliet re value for money at blue planet. You will be out of there in 45 mins feeling very ripped off!

I tend to take a picnic because the food is never great. Parking at Blackpool sea life is directly behind the building, near the tower you can't miss it. Blackpool have a tunnel too!
