Is there any way of buying a holiday without booking dates?

I want to buy a short break to New York as a raffle prize but obviously won't have names for the booking nor do I want it to be on a specific date, although don't mind if it has to be used within 2 months or so of winning.

I know people will probably advise holiday vouchers but I really want the wow factor of having won a trip to new york- £2000 or so holiday vouchers just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Anyone in the industry and know if there's any way of doing this? tia

have tried to do something similar for our school and came up against problems with it so ended up saying that this is what it was, a holiday and booking once we knew who had won. remember if you are offering something as a raffle prize you need to check with your local council/trading standards so that you meet all the legal requirements of it.

Can't a travel agent give you a voucher?
