Anyone else got a Disney Florida trip planned? Want to get excited together and share plans?

We are off to DisneyWorld next year and I am already really excited about it. Anyone else? I'd love to compare notes on what you are doing to prepare. I'm starting to think about how to do a big surprise for the DC when we tell them we are going.

Can I get excited here?! Just booked up for two weeks in October 2014....it's a long way off but wanted to get the right flights!
Booked thru Virgin Holidays and we are doing 10 nights in disney's Beach Club (went there last October for 8 nights) and 3 nights at Leowes Pacific resort at Universal.
We haven't been to Universal before as last Oct the kids weren't really old enough. But when we go they will be 10, 9 and 7 and should be able to do most of the rides! Plus since last time we went they have got massively into Harry Potter.
Does anyone have any tips for Universal? Must sees, dining recommendations etc?
Have a few new ideas for Disney. We will prob do the Norway Princess dining this time (did castle last time). I also want to eat at Be Our Guest restaurant which looks beautiful and try Tusker House character dinng. We will def do Garden Grill, Crystal Palace and cafe cape may character dining again too as these were amazing.
We didn't make the evening parades at MK or Epcot last time as kids too tired so will be building in 2 rest days this time to ensure we make these shows.
Last time DS2 missed Halloween party as he was ill so we will prob book that again too
And we have to see Belle this time...she is DDs favourite and we managed to not see her last time!
Any Universal tips greatly appreciated. We have two full days and two half days there.

4 more sleeps for me. Went to Primark for slipper sock things and forgot the hoody I wanted too for the plane! Sigh!!!

Also caught dd going through the packed holdalls grrrr

Oh Happy, I'm glad I'm not the only one waiting so long! We are going in October 2014 too. Can't wait!

Have changed all the bedding, washed all the bedding that was on the beds! Kitchen's been gutted along with the bathroom and the hall. Am fully packed bar the hand luggage. Bored now. 3 more sleeps!

Hey all, i got back from Florida a few weeks ago. Still on the comedown from the immense high! We done disney and universal theme parks every day for 2 weeks with only one day rest! Was an absolutely amazing experience. If anyone wants to know any information then please ask away as i feel like i know everything there is to know about the parks rides now. After the first week even went round the parks without a map

So jealous of everyone going!

We're in the airport. Barely slept all night. Ready to snooze now.

Just booked! We are not off till Feb, but I can't wait. Staying at Old Key West. If anyone's been I'd love to hear how it was (say it was great!)

We have arrived what a fabulous villa in the Westridge area. Our pool is all different colours in the dark and we have free wifi :-)

Wooohoooo! How was the flight? What are the plans today?

Well apart from the drunken Chav who f'ed all the way flight was fine. We were slightly delayed and arrived at the same time as another flight. But landed at 4.10pm and had the villa details and were driving down 417 by 5.30pm. Managed to get to Thomas Cook 2nd in line for the villa haha.

Off to animal kingdom today. Need to finish the Walmart shop. We'd had enough lol.
