Anyone else got a Disney Florida trip planned? Want to get excited together and share plans?

We are off to DisneyWorld next year and I am already really excited about it. Anyone else? I'd love to compare notes on what you are doing to prepare. I'm starting to think about how to do a big surprise for the DC when we tell them we are going.

I can't believe this rain, I was expecting short heavy showers but this has been pretty much non stop for almost 6 hours now! CMs say its to last until the weekend too Sad

My friend lives in Jacksonville and says its to clear by Thursday. They're coming down to spend some time with us. Went shopping yesterday. Ds bought the whole Nike shop lol.

What do you do in the rain? Do you still go into the parks?

I know in storms they shut most of it down, but what happens in rain?

Oh poor you. I hope it clears up soon.

The last two times we have been it hasn't rained at all (September and November) so you forget what it can be like. However we have only ever had one day where it was constant, the rest of the times it has been short hard downpours for 10 minutes and then everything has dried up within minutes.

I only brought crocs and plimsoles for Ds.

We have stayed in the parks with raincoats on. Yesterday was the worst but we stayed at Magic Kingdom until 7.30pm.

Our ultimate passes failed after working fine but Disney transferred them on to their park passes.

It's getting busy for 4th July and some people don't seem to know excuse me please when skiving the queue. I really upset a family at Spaceship Earth today. The mum didn't like the manners cost nothing line. I am a stickler for manners.

It's rained today twice. Heavy showers and dry again but it gets too warm as the steam comes off the ground.

Am currently in Hollywood Studio's people watching. It's very busy today. It was 6 years ago today that we flew out the 4 of us.

No one wanted to go on Sad Dd went on 6 years ago and has been terrified of lifts since. She found R'n'R coaster boring. Ds loved it. Really enjoyed Midway Mania. Met lots of characters so if you want photopass plus it is worth it here.

Had a fab magical moment in Hollywood Studio's as we were leaving. I'd managed to buy stamps for our postcards, so was sorting them out when I noticed a dressed up man chatting to My son, this old fashioned phone kept ringing and he kept getting an old fashioned phone out of his bag and pretending he knew Muzz. Next thing I knew a photopass photographer had grabbed our PP+ card and was snapping away. He gave Muzz a gold cup on a chain as he'd missed his award ceremony because of his amnesia. It was just so lovely. Nice end to the day.

Been in the 90's. it's so nice to be warm in the evenings. Blue Man Group was awesome.

Not been much rain compared to last week.

Loved Universal Studios.

Crossed of another thing have got my $ manged to scrape enough that have $1200 figuring not shopping , plus only trip of is sea world and have the Disney dining plan so really hoping that's enough

It's bearable. But found yesterday afternoon uncomfortable at Fantasia Golf. It was just too hot. Only air con was the wee arcade which I kept in before and after.
