I have just asked a friend if she would like to go in Feb/March. Any recommendations for hotels/places to eat would be much appreciated. Grin

Actually it will be dh and I and another couple. Would like somewhere fairly opulent but reasonable.

What sort of price?

sailorsgal · 01/12/2012 22:14

I don't really know what the other couple would like to spend but i thought for 4 nights we could get something for about 200 a night with flights on top.

Would recommend asking for a room on the first floor of a riad as the courtyards are often used for guests to drink tea in/drink breakfast/check in. So the courtyard rooms can sometimes feel like they lack privacy.

Les Jardins de la medina - perfect with kids - esp if you can get a ground floor room -as it is a courtyard and you can eat right outside your room whilst the kids are in bed.

I can't recommend Riad L'Aziza highly enough. Just divine. It's the former home of the Sultan/Pacha of Marrakech. It isn't very expensive but it is very central and completely stunning.
