Okay, so i've recently heard conflicting information regarding travellers cheques and using them in Egypt.
Firstly, i heard travellers cheques were no longer available, then that they were & you could use them in Egypt, however, you were unlikely to be able to cash unused ones upon return to the uk? OR that you may find that once in Egypt (Luxor) they won't be accepted!!!
I've heard about the 'card' option that the travel agents do now, which is replacing the travellers cheques, however, when my sister went to Spain recently, she was charged a lot of interest on top of what she used on it! Wondering now if its better just to take Egyptian pounds and English pounds to change over there!
