Boots do a insect repellant that kids can use (3months plus I think) which has no deet.

Posted on your other thread as well. I invested in a bar of citronella soap and showered with that dailly, plus using a citronella based insect repellant (no deet) and we had no bites at all.

I've found \link{http://www.mosiguard.com/\ Mosiguard} effective, it's widely available.

Apparantly Avons oil spray in Woodland scent is good, (for some strange reason) I have used it and it seems to work as well as Jungle Formula that we always swear by.

I would also recommend citronella candles and insensce sticks, the smoke helps too. Or just stand beside a wood fire Grin.
