Fuck! Has anyone ever lost 3out of 4 of the family's passports???!!!!!

Went to Corfu in may so had them all then. Dd2s passport needs replacing so started process off. Went to write mine & dh's passport numbers on her form and cant frigging find his, dd1's (new) one and dd2's old one.

I've found mine which was separate- had to scan it for something but the 2dds and dh's are nowhere to be seen. I've turned the house upside down - NOWHERE!!! I can only think they got accdentally chucked away in this shithole of a house.

We're travelling end October. Dh's last passport was a replacement - will they be suspicious? it's gong to cost a frigging bomb. SHIT!!! How will we replace dd2's without his passport number?

Have you entered your passport numbers as part of electronic bookings in the past? If you still have the email confirmations or an Easyjet/equivalent profile, you'll be able to look at an old boarding card to get the passport number.

Good idea. Will still need to be new ones though, for dh and dd2. Won't they be suspicious?

Could you apply for dd's using the old ppno and, a couple of weeks' later, apply for dh's replacement? He could even do it by face-to-face appointment to speed things up, couldn't he? When you say "suspicious", what do you mean? They cancel the old ones so they can't be used, even if they do turn up.

Check your travel/contents insurance policies in case you can get the money back.

Oh I don't know I just think they might think cos we lost dh's old one before and put us on some kind of incompetency register or something. I'm so annoyed at the thought of the cost more than anything. It's such a bloody waste

Dh has just come in from work and I was standing in the hall moaning about how terrible it was that I couldnt find them and saying I wish I could remember which handbag I'd taken to Greece. And there it was AS I SPOKE hanging on the bannister the bag I took. It all came back to me, I delved inside and there they were. THERE THEY BLOODY BLOODY WERE!!!
