Holiday with disabled dad ....

HI ....I am wondring if anyone has had any expierience of booking special disabled holidays .

We...my mum myself and my 3 ds's (12,8,10 yrs old) would like to take dad on holiday next year..?Aug ..dont really mind where but with in the 4 hour flight time .

Dad needs wheelchair ,hire of mobility scooter,disable bethroom and hoist to get into pool.

We want hotel with nightlife ....well entertainment !

Can anyone recomend a good agent that does this sort of holiday...or has anyone used one before.

have a look at the various specialist websites like disabilityworld. visit britain has a special scheme to accredit places that are disabled friendly. have a look at their website. also anywhere in the UK with a star rating from the tourist board must have an access statement so ask for one of these. we visit cornwall a lot and know that visit cornwall website has all this sort of information on it. would certainly start with the websites and tourist boards if holidaying in the UK
