Next day Russian visas - vfs global or intourist?

Hello

Last minute trip to Moscow - does anyone have any pointers/advice on getting last minute visas? It's all very wordy on the websites! It's one entry tourist visas by the way, travel and hotel booked independently (but big well known hotel chain).

Don't think you can get any visas same day any more ?? If next day but you would have to go to visa issuer to hand in then no definite that it will be back in time . Best bet ring speak to someone , see if you can get them on your side you may have to make trips down to where ever to leave application and pick back up . How long have you got before you fly.

Forgot to say we used vfs global for going to india . Was last minute also , one lady in Birmingham office was fantastic chasing things for me . Allowing me to pick up from London centre . But was very mad and stressful . We got them though skin of teeth and help from both London/ Birmingham office . So can be done

Scotts Tours might be able to do it - they've got me a visa for Russia in a hurry on several occasions....

Thought I'd posted earlier - obviously didn't press the button! We're not going till Sunday and dh has at last booked the hotel so we can get on with visas. No problem for him as his is multi entry anyway.

Some great information on that Scotts site - thanks for that, Puffykins. Mainly about how to answer some of the odd questions on the visa form. I'm going to use the vfs next day service as we're not too far from London and I have free time this week. Really looking forward to it.
