Have done the deed and booked our first holiday abroad. DD will be two and we have reasonable flight times for departure and return. Have booked flights with Easyjet. Does DD sit on my lap for flight duration? Should I be panicking about a car seat? Do not plan to hire car but how do we get from airport to resort safely? 90 minutes transfer. Is there something I am forgetting? DH and I are seasoned travellers but I know how stressful it has been on the few occaisions that we have travelled and DD decides that she would rather not iykwim :o

If you have booked a seat for DD - then she will have her own seat - if not she will be on your knee.
When we took DS aged 3, we hired a car seat but then we were hiring a car. You could take a booster seat but at 2 she may not be big enough - you'd have to check recommendations

Thanks, will check flight details and find out about booster seat.

As the flights not too long take things like a few basic smallish toys, one of those small magna doodle boards is a good idea. Lots of snacks & drinks & a few extra bits in case you get delayed anywhere & a change of clothes in hand luggage in case of mishaps !

Thanks Whizzz, not sure I would have remembered a change of clothes!!
