Caribbean, Dubai, Egypt, Canaries(windy), Cape Verde(windy).

The Caribbean would be great in February (Oct may be a bit wet/humid).

Oct - Southern Spain/Italy/Greece should still be okay in Oct, but prob more warm than hot, Egypt, Middle East?

Feb - Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Australia, Morocco, Egypt, South Africa.

Welcome to mumsnet!

I find Spain a bit out of season in Ocotber - we tend to go to La Manga in October and play tennis - weather is great - but the surrounding area is very definitely end of season (might be different on other parts of the coast)

We've also done Florida twice in Ocotber and it's lovely weather then, and never out of soon! But that's a very specific type of holiday.

But this year we're going to Lanzarote. We 've done gran canaria in October and it was very very hot - but we loved it. Temp got up to 38 according to the beach thermometer - and not at all windy. Wasn't windy in Tenerife in April either - perhaps we were just lucky? And the canaries are genuinely year round resorts.

Wen used to go to Tenerife in Nov/dec, and it was great leaving Scotland with snow on the ground and stepping off the plane in the heat!
