3-7th Aug - hotels seem very expensive. Have posted on swap shop for possible house swap (we live in a great holiday area) but if that fails any ideas on cheap but decent place to stay with baby??
Thanks!

You will find that a lot of the hotels/b&B's are pricey becasue of the fringe. Don't know what to recommend, sorry. Does it need to be in the city?

Doesn't really need to be right in the city - anywhere in reach of the airport really - just for a short break somewhere different!

The Fringe doesn't start until the 6th, and the "real" festival until the 13th, so it shouldn't be too horrendous. There's a Premier Travel Inn, I think it's called, which is fairly central and shouldn't be too expensive. The area around the airport is not that nice, you'd be better off in the city I think.

What about \link{http://www.starandgarterhotel.co.uk/\this hotel} in Linlithgow. It's only 20 minutes to the airport by car (unless you try it during the rush hour when it's much longer) which is probably quicker than trying to get there from the City Centre.
Also, Linlithgow is a nice, historic town in its own right.
If you don't fancy this, I would look at the Tourist Board website \link{http://www.visitscotland.com\here}to see what else is available.
