We're meeting up with friends in central London on Sunday, and we will have three pre-schoolers with us for lunch (gulp). Can anyone recommend a good family friendly restaurant (or museum which has a cafe) where we could meet up? We'll get into Paddington, they'll be arriving at Waterloo, so somehere West end-ish would be even better. TIA :)

The Observer really rate \link{http://www.giraffe.net/home.html\Giraffe}. They've branches all over London.

the Deep Blue Cafe at the Science Museum rates highly too.

The Giraffe on Blandford St,just off Marylebone High St is your West End one - and it's never as busy as the others around town...

Bodeans in Poland St (just off Oxford St is also good) and they have a TV area to amuse the kids. It's in a basement which you might not like in summer but given the foul weather at the moment, it probably doesn't matter. Also Smollenskys on the Strand is good, they do kids packs and I think kids eat free at weekends. Both of these places have websites.
