Do you wise mums/travelers think I am being overly optimistic to think I can squeeze an over-night stay in Paris in on our way home.
Hoping to go to DLP for 3ns on 27/12/12. DS's 10 and 5.
Will we all be too exhausted? Is it logisticaly to much trouble re: airport transfers.
Has anyone had experience of this?
Just fancied a little bit of culture to detox from the Disney mayhem.

Just did a similar sort of combo holiday in Paris - it's really easy to do the transfers etc, not expensive (nothing's expensive after Disney Grin),no problem at all, so definitely go for it!

Oh thank-you Twirly. Can you recommended cheapish central hotel? How did you travel between Disney/ Paris/Airport?
Sorry, taking advantage of you now!

Will PM you as that's a bit easier!

We arrived back from DLP two days ago after 3 nights there. In all honesty I would do Paris first as we were all shattered after DLP. We went on the Eurostar which was so so very easy.

Hi Iisad, just think kids won't give us a minutes peace till we get to DLP.

I think you're right - they'll appreciate Paris more if they get DP out of the way! There's so much for kids of all ages in Paris and you can even do Disney/Pixar themed things with them so that you see what you want but they think it's still film based ('Notre Dame' for example, and 'Monster in Paris', 'Ratatouille' etc) Grin.
