Boat trips in London

On Sunday I am looking for a family day out, with DCs 4 and 7, DH, and my mum who is registered blind. Boat trip might be popular, looking for something not too pricey, and with a good destination at the end! The only one I know of goes to Greenwich, which fits the bill, but there must be others out there - I am very out of touch with London!

There are lots of boats leaving from Embankment ( and other places). Greenwich is the obvious one, or you can stay on the boat to the Thames Barrier.

In the other direction, you can head to Hampton Court and Richmond.

You do realise that the Paralympic marathon is on on Sunday morning, and its route includes the Embankment?

I think they are running boats down the canal to the Olympic park at the moment- maybe not as picturesque though!
