somewhere to eat in or near Tunbridge Wells on Mother's Day

I will have ds1(4y), ds2(20m), dp(34) and dp's dad(60-something) with me. We are going to a Thomas day at the Spa Valley Railway for ds1's birthday. Dp's dad can be fussy about eating establishments (Italian or good pub food are preferred) but obviously my first consideration is somewhere good for the kids where we won't be frowned upon for them behaving normally. Thought I'd better book soon otherwise we might end up in Pizza Hut (which we probably wouldn't mind but dp's dad would).

Suggestions gratefully received!

Tootsies - Kid central, great burgers and an ice cream bar too.

Used to have a Tootsies near my work, sounds good. I think dp's dad might like it too! Any other suggestions, though, so I can be spoilt for choice??
