Any one traveled with a pram to australia? Quarantine issues?

Hi all,
We are going to fly to australia very soon and am just wondering about taking our pram. I want to take our jogging buggy as cargo on the plane.

Has anyone done this? How did you wrap it protect it?
How closely did quarantine inspect the pram? How much did you scrub it before hand?

TIA

Went with ours in March, no probs at all. We bought the travel bag that was made for it (iCandy peach) and it came through just fine as checked luggage. I gave mine a good scrub before we left - but I'd spent the winter doing BuggyFit in a muddy rec ground so it needed it!

Quarantine at Brisbane didn't even open the bag. I'd say get rid of any obvious dirt/grass on it, but you shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks. that's good to know. Think I'l give it a good clean now and keep using it but give it another clean just before we go.

Lord, we didn't even think of cleaning ours before we went! It wasn't filthy by anyway, but it wasn't pristine either. No problems at all.
